Staff training ran for five full days this year. We started each day with an hour of praise, worship and prayer followed by an hour of team time and an hour of Strengths training. Each camp counselor took the Clifton StrengthsFinder test and found out their top five strengths. We were so lucky to have time each day to work on personal and team development!
Each afternoon we spent time in formal training, team building and general getting-ready-for-camp activities.
We learned to play some of the camper games.
And we set up for assembly time.
It's difficult to pick a favorite part of training but the best pictures definitely came from team building.
After beating the smaller Water Pipe Challenge in record time the staff attempted the never-been-beaten extra-huge-more-holes-than-we-have-fingers Water Pipe.
When they finally beat it they were SO EXCITED!! The celebration lasted a full five minutes.

The very last day of training was the Fun In The Sun picnic. We invited the campers to come have fun and meet their counselors.
