Week 3 - 2012

What a great week! Lots of fun, lots of smiles, lots of happy staff and campers! Here are some of the favorites from the week.

Our favorite time of the day is Assembly where we praise God and see a Bible story skit.

At Sports Specialty one of the favorite games to play is soccer.

At Art Specialty one of the favorite activities of the week was paper mâché masks.

One of the favorite activities in Lego Specialty was building the tallest tower.

Of all the places to play at camp, the woods is the favorite by far.

Favorite thing to do at Water Play? Throw water on a counselor, of course!

But above all, more than outdoor activity at camp, the Water Slides are at the top of everyone's list!

Week 2 - 2012

It was another fun week of camp here at Grace Adventures!

Our fun dress-up day was Dress Like A Superhero Day! Perfect for our Super Hero themed summer.

Sports Specialty was #1 (at least they felt like #1).

Art Specialty got their fingers messy.

Outdoor Exploration got in touch with nature.

The water slides were FAST!

And Water Play was a blast!

We loved hanging out with your kids this past week!

Week 1 - 2012

What a crazy, fun, challenging, unusual camp week!

The first day of camp was canceled due to the power outages after the east coast derecho. The second day was fun, lots of fun! The 100+ degree weather kept our schedule hopping and everyone adapted nicely.

Our theme is Super Hero Summer and the heroes for Week 1 were David, Ruth, Jonah, Daniel and Jesus. We learned that we can find heroes in unlikely places. God gave the heroes special strength to show us His love and then he gave us the ultimate Super Hero - Jesus!

Our camp activities included playing outside...

...working on art projects...

...sliding on the waterslides...

...exploring in the woods...

...and dance, dance, dancing.

It was a great week and we're definitely looking forward to Week 2!
